Blimey! Has it really been a month since I last updated? I will make posting more often my NEW YEARS RESOLUTION.
Anyway, my daughter Ellie turned 13 months (has it been that long already?) on Wednesday, and it’s truly terrifying just how quickly she’s changing. Within a a few short weeks we’ve gone from her first tentative attempts at crawling, to standing up and cruising round the furniture. I know it’s only a matter of time now before her endlessly earnest and adorable baby babbling makes way for concentrated attempts at speech, so I decided to record her talking for posterity. Once recorded, I thought the only logical thing to do with it was turn it into a new track! So yes this is ‘Fatherhood:’ A reflection on all the moments of joy, fear, terror and, most of all, contented fulfillment that little ones bring to you.
